It can assist with traumatic personal situations or past events. The counselor can provide practical techniques and support to help you to achieve your goals. Counselling can help to heal past hurts and assist you with moving forward with your life.
What you can expect in the consultation:
The first consultation will give you the opportunity to “let it all out” where the counsellor will take a complete history of your situation. Counselling uses techniques such as visualization, creative writing, role play, relaxation exercises, stress management techniques, listening and communication skills to help you explore the issues at hand.
